7 Simple Ways to Keep Your Bathroom Clean

Cleaning your bathroom can be one of the tedious jobs we don’t like at all. But it is a very important one concerning personal hygiene and health.

The bathroom is most used in our house, but we pay little to no attention to it. However, if left unattended, it could lead to various health hazards. It may be a time-consuming affair, but don’t we agree on how important it is?

Wondering whether cleaning this corner of your home is easy or not? And If you want an odorless, clean bathroom, learn these 7 effective tips you can implement to keep your bathroom clean.

1)Scrub the Sink and Faucets

While cleaning bathroom floors, we forget that the sinks and the faucets also need equal attention. If not paid, it can become a germ center. Try to keep the sink and faucets equally clean by scrubbing them.

The hairs often get stuck in the sink drains and hope of the bathroom corners. Remove the hair with the help of a brush or a piece of paper. There are lots of commercial cleaning supplies available online, which can make your work easy. You can check it out.

Also, you can scrub the sink with the help of baking soda or toothpaste. Then rinse it thoroughly with water. Try to do it at least twice to get good results. Also, scrub the shower heads and faucets with a clean cloth with Vinegar.

2)Wipe Countertops and Cabinets

Like our kitchen space, our washroom’s countertops and kitchen get used daily. We pay attention to the bathroom floors but forget to clean the countertops.

We brush, wash our faces, do various things in front of the mirror, and keep our belongings on Countertops and Cabinets. First, clean this area, and take out your toiletries, grooming kits, and decorative accents. Then use an all-purpose cleaner to wipe the area. A floor or tile cleaner may do the job. Do it at least once a week for better results.

3)Habit of Decluttering

To keep your bathroom space looking well organized and neat, you must equip decluttering habits. First, take away all those grooming kits, shampoos, and gels which are expired or which are no more in use. Next, clean up the space by wiping cloth frequently. This habit will ease your load to clean the bathroom completely. Instead, you can schedule days in the notepad when to clean floors, declutter unused items, and other days clean countertops, cabinets, and so on. This little habit will do wonders to provide a well-organized area.

4) Attend the floor and the Ceiling

The routed lines between the bathroom tiles are an invitation for germs to pile up. Pour some vinegar and baking soda in between these lines and keep it for a while. Then scrub it with good-quality scrubbers and wipers, which you can find here.

Also, the corners of the bathroom are something that often gets ignored. We keep our halls, dressing, and bedroom well clean and put up, but bathroom corners are ignored.

With the help of dusting mops and cloths available on one-stop cleaning solution websites, you can grab various commercial items required to keep your home clean and polished.

5) Do not forget Mirrors and Curtains

While Mirrors help us in grooming, they are the most splashed with water while brushing, face cleaning, and shaving. Spray the mirrors with glass cleaners and wipe them down with the help of a soft cloth, which must be kept aside for mirror cleaning.

Curtains in the bathroom must also be washed at least once a month.

6) Clean the Toilet Bowl Properly

Use a good quality cleaner from the market or available online websites to clean up your toilet bowl. It could be the most tedious part of cleaning the bathroom, but the most germs hotspot also.

Make it a daily habit to pour disinfectant over there and leave it for at least 20 minutes. Then do the scrubbing nicely. Of course, you can do other daily cleaning chores by that time.

Also, drop a couple of antacid tablets or camphor in the nearby areas of the toilet bowl. Also, use a bathroom fragrance spray to get a good smell-free bathroom.

7) Clean Your Bathtub

Fill your bathtub with hot water and sprinkle it with baking soda. Then let it be set aside for some time. Then scrub it nicely to give your bathtub a fresh look.

Also, keep some bathroom scents to get a good fragrance whenever anyone enters the bathroom. Also, don’t forget to decorate your bathroom with artificial decorations or indoor plants.

We hope you will learn a lot from this article and keep your bathroom well-organized, fresh, and clean using these simple steps.
